Learning Outcomes
It is an interdisciplinary approach to the development of of innovative entrepreneurial thinking and action, and acquiring the necessary knowledge so that students are able to: To know and understand the basic concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship in the sports sector. To analyze the market and internal and external environment so they can make up the information to plan the establishment and functioning of a healthy small or midsize sports business unit, or to develop their individual professional activities (self-employment), or even as workers contribute to strengthening the competitiveness and efficiency of sporting bodies that are members (7 weeks). Also through the workshops of the course they work with case studies and business games and plans of actual and virtual enterprises, using software operational planning of the sports sector in order to simulate the real conditions according to their theoretical understanding (4 weeks). The visits of the business world will help ensure that the students will be able to build the gap from the theory to the real world (2 weeks). Finally, the students have to create their own business plans for a sports organization and practice to implement the theories into real world.

Course Content (Syllabus)
COURSE OUTLINE 1 Introduction to entrepreneurship. The profile of the entrepreneur. 2 Basic issues of the small business administration. Decision making, organization, leadership and control. 3 Marketing for small businesses. Evaluation of internal and external environment 4 Investment programs. Evaluation of programs 5 Financial analysis organization of accounting and taxes administration 6 Financing resources for the development of a new business. 7 Investment plans and financial development 8 Business plan through “specisoft” software. 9 Theory for the development of business plans 10 Practice for the development of business plans 11 Development of business plans 12 Visits to sport entrepreneurs 13 Evaluation of the visits to sport entrepreneurs

Description
Students are taught with the use of latest technology and the presentation of the classes are conducted through data projectro and PC. The students also learn how to develop the business plan with the use of a specialized software. They look for the relative bibliography through the electronic data base. They communicate with the instructors through the e-mail.
