Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able: - To "read" a technical drawing, that is to recognize what the drawing depicts and which are its basic features. - To draw a technical drawing (electrical / mechanical), to put the necessary dimensions and record the information necessary for the construction of the object drawn. - To carry out the above, both on paper and on the computer using the corresponding Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Line drawing, simple geometric constructions, top, front, side and section views of objects, dimensioning, design of simple components, draft drawings, construction details drawings. Introduction to CAD: CAE Systems, Introduction to AutoCAD. Designing electrical networks, electrical panels, plans of automation installations.
