Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course the students will be able to differentiate and iintegrate single variable functions, to find maxima and minima, to solve linear systems, compute eigenvectors and eigenvalues, compute the inverse of a matrix and sketch second order surfaces in space.
Course Content (Syllabus)
CALCULUS:
Functions: hyperbolic and Inverse. Graphs.
Derivatives and Differentials, Applications of derivatives,
indefinite and Definite integrals, Generalized integrals, Applications of integrals.
Series.
LINEAR ALGEBRA:
Matrices Algebra, Determinants, Systems of Linear Equations.
Eigenvalues and Eigenfunctions.
ANALYTIC GEOMETRY:
Conic Sections. Second order surfaces.
Second Order Equation of two and three dimensional space
