Learning Outcomes
Upon successfull completion of this course, students will have mastered the most basic branch of modern organic chemistry, which is Organic Synthesis. Acquiring skills in the design and synthesis of organic molecules gives the students the opprtunity to deepen in Chemistry and is an important asset for their scientific and professional development.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to the principles of Organic Synthesis. Functional group interconversion. Protection Groups. Oxidation and Reduction in Organic Synthesis. Syntheses with C-C bond formation. Methods of cyclic compounds synthesis. Retrosynthetic analysis. Asymmetric synthesis.
