Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to comprehend the basic mechanisms of cell function in health and disease, and the possibilities of pharmacological interventions on molecules controlling these functions, and he will be able to understand drug actions at the molecular level.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Drug receptors, signal transduction mechanisms, mechanisms of ion transport, aquaporins, the role of endothelium, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and molecular pharmacology of atheromatosis, inflammation, aquaporins and drug dependence.
