Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the Student will have acquired the following skills:
1.Understanding the mechanisms of the musculoskeletal system and the importance of bone metabolism.
2.Understanding how to approach a patient with metabolic bone disease.
3.Knowledge of the risk factors that should be evaluated in the patient's history.
4.Knowledge of imaging and laboratory tests that may be used to assess the patient.
5.Knowledge of the therapeutic possibilities that can be used on a case-by-case basis.
