After the successful completion of the course, students should: know the basic metabolic pathways of human metabolism know how each metabolic pathway is regulated know the role of basic metabolic pathways to the satisfaction of major nutritious human needs know how the basic metabolic pathways are correlated and interact with each other understand how the basic metabolic pathways are correlated with major metabolic diseases

Student Assessment
Description
The evaluation of the laboratory course is done with a written examination and inclusion of the grades of the student assignments at the end of the semester. The grade "excellent" (> 8.5) increases by 10% the final grade of the course. The assessment of students in theoretical knowledge is done by oral examination at the end of the semester.
