Learning Outcomes
1. Understand and deepen the basic concepts of the analysis of functions of a real variable. 2. Understand and deepen the basic concepts of linear algebra and analytical geometry. 3. Become capable of using mathematical concepts and techniques (being taught during the course) for the solution of practical problems in engineering applications.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Calculus of functions of a real variable: Limits and continuity. Derivatives and applications. Definite and insefinite integrals and applications. Sequences and Series. Power series. Linear Algebra: Matices, Determinants, Linear Systems, vector spaces, rank, eigenvalues, eigenvectors. Analytic geometry: Euclidean spaces. Lines and planes in space. Quadratic curves and quadratic surfaces.
