Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction: The internal market of the EU and the four fundamental freedoms. Part 1 Free movement of goods: the customs union - customs cooperation - prohibition of quantative restrictions and measures of equivalent effect - state monopolies of a commercial character. Part 2 Free movement of persons: the notion of "worker" and the content of the right - limitations on grounds of public order, public security and public health - employment in the public sector - free movement of persons and citizenship of the Union - free movement of persons and the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice.

Student Assessment
Description
Sstudents are required to take either a written or an oral exam. The written exam consists of one practical subject that students must answer as well as two theoretical subjects, of which the students are required to answer the one. The practical subject is graded with 6 points and the theoretical one with 4. The oral exam is open only to those students who have followed the courses on a regular basis.
