Course Content (Syllabus)
European social security law. The concept of Social Security. Social security comparison. International social security law. International Labour Organisation and social security. The Regulation 883/2004. The coordination of national social security systems within Europe. General principles of coordination. The scope of the Regulation. Personal scope, material scope. Applicable legislation (lex loci laboris). Posting. Equal treatment. Assimilation of facts. Export of benefits. Frontier workers. Principle of good administration.Harmonisation. Equal treatment between men and women. Directives. Open method of coordination.
