Learning Outcomes
Upon succesful completion of the course the students will be able to do the following.
1. Compute limits, derivatives and integrals of basic functions of one or more variables, in Cartesian, polar or parametric coordinates.
2. To compute volumes, areas and arc lengths of basic functions of one or more variables.
3. To expand funcitons in Taylor series.
4. To know the equations in three-dimensional space of the striaght line, plane and quadratic surfaces.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Calculus of single real functions: Limit, derivatives, integrals, sequences, power series. Applications.
Linear Algebra and Analytic Geometry: Matices, Determinants, Linear Systems, Vector spaces, eigenvalues eigenvectors, analytic geometry.
