Learning Outcomes
The aim of this course is to understand student issues related to social differentiation from the point of view of pedagogy for social justice. More specifically, at the end of the meetings the students should: • To acquire basic knowledge and skills relevant to the subject and to be able to relate them to their practice. • Recognize and explain how unequal social relationships affect human actions and relationships both at the micro (individual) and at the macro (structural) level. • Develop their vocabulary with concepts that describe the issues of social differentiation in Canadian schools within the theory of critical social justice. • To improve their critical ability and thought, as well as the way they write and are spoken orally. • Develop an action plan for all of the above, which will serve the objectives of a fairer society. • More specifically, they can design and be able to take courses taking into account the social differences between students. • Use multiple source data in their teaching. • Identify the further needs of their professional development in relation to the teaching and / or support of pupils.
