Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of this course is the use of translation memory systems and the resolution of problems that arise during machine translation. Future translators will be trained in computer skills and particularly in tools dedicated to translation : 1. An introduction to translation tools 2. CAT tools 3. SDL Trados 4. SDL Trados : Creating a memory and translating different corpus types 5. SDL Trados : Text alignment (Translation Alignment) 6. SDL Trados : Translation memories 7. Translation project management 8. Translation project management 9. SDL Trados : Creating a project 10. Terminology databases 11. Multiterm 12. Multiterm 13. Translation of a text and enrichment of the Multiterm database
