Learning Outcomes
Development of the ability to recognise und understand the main interpretative issues related to the taught provisions, to use appropriate interpretative methods for solving them, to present und critically evaluate the opinions supported about them in science and jurisprudence and to apply correctly the provisions in the framework of practical exercises.
Course Content (Syllabus)
This course examines in an interdisciplinary way issues related to the enforcement and application of alternative therapeutic measures provided by law for addicted offenders. In particular, the conditions for their imposition and its consequences are taught, so that the future specialist scientist knows how he can most effectively help the addicted perpetrator, relevant court decisions are reported, and issues related to the determination of detoxification are investigated, as well as and policies for social reintegration of perpetrators and tackling relapse.
