Learning Outcomes
With sucessful completion of the module students should be able to: (a) explain the complexity of athletes' psychology in sport, and exercise participants' psychology in terms of exercise behavior (b) articulate the basic psychological theories and interventions in the area of sport and exercise psychology (c) interpret the psychological factors related to athletes' increased levels of motivation for sport participation (d) describe the psychological factors related to sports performance enhancement and individuals' motivation for exercise participation (e) devise strategies to achieve improved psychology for their athletes' enhanced athletic performance and exercise participants for their long term exercise involvement.
