Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to: create in marble three-dimensional forms with plastic values and personal aesthetic requests. handle and solve problems that will arise from the processing of the material. acquire skills, knowledge, and experience for the control and movement of marble volume, using aids and hand machines such as crowbars, slings, crane, etc. Understand the handling of tracking points device. Perform with absolute accuracy any work from the model to the marble Possess the basic principles of maintenance and troubleshooting of this material.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Creation of free form, from a volume of marble. The students will create personal work, according to the basic subtraction method of sculpture. Creation in marble of three-dimensional forms with plastic values and personal aesthetic requests. Moving a volume of marble, using aids and hand machines such as crowbars, slings, crane, etc. Handling of the traditional tracking points device. To perform with absolute accuracy any work from the model to the marble. Learning the basic principles of maintenance and troubleshooting of this material.
