Upon successful completion of the courses students will have ac-quired a basic knowledge about:
~ the general pattern of the History of modern Greek prose (from 1914 to the present) (authors, texts)
~ the features of fundamental aesthetic trends (e.g., realism, modernism, post-modernism)
~ the main literary schools and tendencies of modern Greek literature, especially of modern Greek prose from 1914 to the present(e.g., Generation of the 1930s, First and Second Post-War Generation)
~ the critical reading of texts of modern Greek prose (from 1914 to the present).
