Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course students will be able to ~ understand that terms like satire and humor have been identified variously; ~ practice in critical reading; ~ attempt to detect aspects of poetic production which have not been studied particularly critical, as it insists highlights (not unfairly) the importance of History.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Starting with the fundamental considerations of Henri Bergson and Luigi Pirandello, will be summarized various (and different) versions have been given for satire and humor. Based on an extensive corpus of poems (1944-1974), it will be attempted to trace the various techniques by which the poetic construct and reconstruct (sometimes subversive) links with the painful memory, the postwar political and social reality, even with the very poetic art.
