Learning Outcomes
The students get familiar with scientific research process. They are educated on Literature search and are involved in all stages of Design of research experiments in method development by taking into account all principles of Good Laboratory Practice in scientific research. They are also getting familiar with writing of scientific articles as well as the presentation of research results in conferences: oral and/or poster presentation. They are acquiring laboratory experience by participation in laboratory exercises.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to scientific research process. Literature search. Searching sources in databases and preparing bibliography (bibliography systems, reference list). Design of research experiments in method development. Principles of Good Laboratory Practice in scientific research. Optimization and validation of analytical methods. Technique of writing scientific articles. Evaluation – review of research papers submitted for publication. Presentation of research results in conferences: oral and/or poster presentation. Acquiring laboratory experience by participation in laboratory exercises.
