Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of the course the students will: - be able to resolve complex legal problems on the wider field of Civil Law - be able to approach special issues of Civil Law through a combination of theory and jurisprudence - have gotten familiarized with reading and understanding court decisions, especially decisions of the High Court and the appellate courts - be able to choose the subject and the direction of their postgraduate studies.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course is the final course in the area of civil law in our faculty. It presupposes that the student has already knowledge of all the individual courses taught on the field of civil law (General Principles - Law of Obligations - Property Law - Family Law - Inheritance Law) and also knows the civil procedure. The course aims to combine the knowledge acquired by students from the individual courses of civil law, to solve complex problems that require comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of civil law and civil procedure and to analyze after discussion typical judicial decisions, in order to gain a first contact with the practical application of civil law.

Description
The performance of students is assessed by means of written exams, which take place at the end of each semester. Oral presentations and case-notes written by the students are also taken into consideration.
