The prerequisite of the Special Criminal is not absolute, but it facilitates the understanding and the deepening in the specific problems of the specific scientific object.
Learning Outcomes
Students are taught the central problems related to legal property, the limits of the unjust, penalties (main and ancillary) and a series of special criminal laws concerning: a) detailed discussion of issues arising from the provisions on basic acts of trafficking and possession drugs in detail according to Law 4139/2013, (types of drugs and basic acts, issues of paternalism in criminal law in relation to the standardization of drug use for personal use of the user, the concept of dependence and its effect on imputation, beneficial measures for drug addicts), (b) substantive issues relating to the protection of intellectual property (meaning of 'ownership', of the original work, limits of the wrongdoer in relation to the reproduction of works by users), of possession and use of weapons according to Law 2168/1993 (concept of weapon, trade, possession, carrying of weapons, use of weapons), smuggling of goods (analyzed and the basic provisions of the customs code are discussed, n. 2690/2001, related to the forms of smuggling (methods of execution, problems of confluence, confiscation, etc.), the issues of illegal entry and stay of foreigners in the country and in particular the deportation according to law 3386/2005, the problems of personal data protection during Law 2472/1997 (meaning of the "file" of personal data, the protected legal property, reasons for removing the wrongdoer). In each course a basic syllabus is distributed, the central issues are introduced and then students are asked to delve into them by discussing examples from the jurisprudence, in order to understand the specifics of the relevant provisions and on the other hand to be able to use appropriate methods for resolution of important interpretative issues and for the application of the relevant provisions in the context of practical exercises.

Course Content (Syllabus)
- Drugs: The aspects of suppression of the spread of drugs in our country are analyzed and identified (eg its punishment simple use and trafficking) and the basic provisions of the current drug legislation are interpreted. (Law 4193/2013). - Intellectual property: The provisions of Law 2121/1993 are analyzed and discussed (: the character of the intellectual creations, tape piracy, confluence problems, etc.). - Weapons: Interpretive problems related to law 2168/1993 (concept of weapon, trade, possession, carrying weapons, use of weapons, etc.) are exposed and discussed. - Smuggling: The basic provisions of the Customs Code (Law 2690/2001) related to forms of smuggling (methods of execution, confluence problems, confiscation, etc.). - Foreigners: The basic provisions of the law on foreigners are analyzed and discussed (Law 3386/2005). - Personal data: The basic provisions of the law on personal data protection according to Law 2472/1997 are raised and discussed.

Description
The evaluation of the students is based on the examination process (written and oral) at the end of the semester as well as (auxiliary-supporting) on ​​their (voluntary) participation in the writing of theses. To ensure transparency in the evaluation of their performance, a predefined detailed score is used for each individual problem that is set to be solved in the exams. To enhance the above transparency, students are encouraged to come after the exams either in group or individual meetings with the teacher in order to see their writing and receive detailed explanations of both the way they had to answer and the way rated.
