Development of the ability to recognise und understand the main interpretative issues related to the taught provisions, to use appropriate interpretative methods for solving them, to present und critically evaluate the opinions supported about them in science and jurisprudence and to apply correctly the provisions in the framework of practical exercises.
Course Content (Syllabus)
In this course, students come in contact with the specific characteristics of stock market crimes. The content of the criminal behavior is analyzed and its relation to the crime of fraud is described. There are also important cases that courts have dealt. The same course examines crimes that affect the operation of companies, as important levers of economic growth. This analyzes in particular crimes against corporations, bribery in the private sector, the dissemination of defamatory news against companies, but also issues related to criminalizing the behavior of employees that harm the interests of the company in which they work for personal gain, as well as the so-called "business espionage".
