Introduction, Rate of convergence of an optimization method, Optimization methods for problems with univariate objective functions (methods: Cauchy, Newton, improved Newton, golden sections, inrerpolation of second degree), Optimization methods for problems with multidimensional objective functions (methods: Newton, improved Newton, conjugate directions, Fletcher-Reeves)
