IT IS SUGGESTED FOR STUDENTS WITH RADIOLOGY KNOWLEDGE AND AT LEAST IN THE 4th YEAR
Learning Outcomes
AFTER FINISHING THE COURSE, THE STUDENTS SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE INDICATIONS, THE TECHNIQUES AND THE POTENTIAL COMPLICATIONS OF THE VARIOUS INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGICAL PROCEDURES IN THE BODY AND CNS. More specific, after the completion of the course, the students will be able: 1) To assess the indications for an Interventional Radiological Act on a patient 2) To know the basic steps of an Interventional Radiological Act 3) To recognize the main complications that may occur following an Interventional Radiological Act 4) To know the principles of post-operative follow-up of an Interventional Radiological Act 5) To understand the basic areas of Research and Advancement in the Area of Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology
