Learning Outcomes
The main objective of the course is to present to the student the theoretical framework and the overall management of older adult who needs dental care. Particular emphasis is given to the options of the treatment plan;that are dependent on the aged biological background and the life-time oral environmetal experience. Thus the student can design and execute the most appropriate and realistic treatment plan. At the end of the course the student can transfer the theoretical background to the clinical practice and consequently develop his/her skills and critical thinking for the benefit of the elderly in an interdisciplinary and interactive environment.
