Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students a) with the basic concepts and terms of Informatics as well as b) with the software applications that are useful for them so that they can meet the needs of informatics both during their studies and in their careers.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Students will become familiar and study the following topics: Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Software for Businesses and Organizations, Graphics and Multimedia, Computer Networks, Internet (Computer Networks), Algorithms, Modern Information Systems (their structure, use, functions and their categorization) as well as their role, the competitive advantage they offer. In the Tutoring / Laboratory Department of the course the students will study and gain practical experience in the following: Windows Operating System, Word word processor, Powerpoint Presentation Software, Excel Spreadsheet Software.
