During this lesson students, candidate directors are requested - after choosing the play or the subject that they decide to direct - a) to cooperate with one dramaturg and one set designer or a musician, b) to make a first drumaturgic approach, c) to chose with dramaturgic mesurments the appropriate performance space δ) to search for the right actors,

Course Content (Syllabus)
SNOW OUT OF COTTON DIRECTING COURSE IV (and Directing as Playwriting) The process of dealing with a fragment of Time on stage (over 45 minutes). A ground offered where all the quidelines of theoritical and practical current Knowledges of the student are to be exerted by the use of existing texts (plays or novels), documentary materials or by creating text emerged from the rehearsing process. A course in axis: a)Providing a vocabulary of terms and actions for “reset”. b)How to quide the actor within indirect, particular paths that stimulate his creativity, thus contributing in the final composition of the scenic action. c)The crucial importance of the “accidental”. d)Steps of incorporating the coincidental – accidental “gifts” ensued by the processes above. e)Directing as Playwriting.

Description
The review and the evaluation of all the directing acts takes place during throughout the semester in front of all the students. All Students attend to the rehearsals of their fellow-sutdents. Every and each one student of the directing course is obliged to cooperate with an other student from his department.
