Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course students through their theoretical and practical training in the Laboratory of Christian Pedagogy and in the Secondary Schools they visit supervising postgraduate students in the context of Students Practice Programme, will be able to:

Course Content (Syllabus)
Christian Pedagogy, as a specific scientific area, examines fundamental issues of the history of Pedagogy as a science in general, and in particular the history of Christian Pedagogy, the necessity and purpose of pedagogical and Christian pedagogy, the relationship of Christian Pedagogy with other humanities sciences. More over, the course examines issues related to school education and the school environment, such as teacher-student interpersonal relationships, student socialization, School discipline with regard to student freedom, family-school relationship, media, environment and education, illiteracy, otherness and diversity, special education, intercultural education, lifelong learning, etc. A special chapter is the research on the pedagogical principles and categories of the Bible and the Christian Fathers or the Church's Saints.
