Learning Outcomes
By the end of the module, students should be able to: (i) argue on the integration of operations strategies into the firm’s overall strategy for competitive advantage; (ii) αpply tools for location decision making; (iii) apply appropriate methods and tools to aid the decision making on strategic capacity planning and organizational design issues; (iv) apply effective tools for the design and management of the production process; (v) apply appropriate tools for conducting feasibility studies.

Description
The evaluation of students (FG)(range 0-10) is based on a combination of the following marks:
Final examination paper (FE), Midterm examination paper (ME), assignment (AA)
The evaluation formula is as follows:
If FE≥ 5, then: FG = 5+(FE-6)*0,5+(ME-6)*0,5 + (AA-7)*0,7 (no negative marks)
If 4≤ FE <5, then: FG = 4+(ME-6)*0,5 + (AA-7)*0,7 (no negative marks)
If FE<4, then: FG = FE
