Course Content (Syllabus)
Rangeland ecosystems structure and function. Dynamics of rangeland veg¬etation, plant physi¬ology and productivity in relation to grazing. Water re¬lations at the community level.

Description
Using lectures and laboratory exercises slideshow software, with a display of the effects of grazing and other anthropogenic influences on biodiversity and productivity of rangeland ecosystems. E-mail communication with students.

Description
The evaluation of the course is based on the written examination in the theory of the course, the laboratory exercises. and participation in the Excursion. The evaluation of the course is based on the written examination of the course either at the end of the semester or with 2 midterm exams during the semester. The exams of the course include multiple-choice questions and short/extended answers from the taught course material. The examination of the laboratory exercises takes place at the end of the semester and includes a) plant identification and b) written examinations. In order to secure a promotional grade, it is required to secure a promotional grade in both components (Theory, Laboratory) as well as to participate in the Excursion. The final grade is as follows: Course examination grade 90% Laboratory grade 10%
