Course Content (Syllabus)
General introduction to visual arts’ skills and abilities of young children. Analysis of creative, perceptual and cognitive skills developed in conjunction with the visual arts’ skills. Current trends and related research areas such as creativity, observation, artistic sensitivity, etc. Familiarity with objectives, materials, themes and visual methods and practical activities and educational applications. Particular emphasis will be given to the performing skills needed to create material
for scenography, costumes and music instruments to accompany theatrical and music activities.
Additional topics: From music to visual language, meeting the arts: music, theater and visual arts.
