Course Content (Syllabus)
Basic aspects of animal husbandry and livestock managing. Critical control points on cattle farms. Critical control points on sheep and goat farms. Critical control points on poultry farms. Critical control points on pig farms. Animal feeding, reproduction and genetic resources management. Milk recording. Beef recording. Quality of milk and meat production. Economics of farming. Livestock and environment. National strategies and action plans for animal genetic resources. Modern practices in livestock sector.
