Learning Outcomes
The course is knowledge deepening and consolidation. It takes place in host institutions, financing by operational programs or by the host institution. Total duration of the practice is 12 weeks (3 months). The host institution undertakes to employ the student under the supervision of a physical education and sport professional belonged to the host institution and a supervisor belonged to the university department scientific staff members. The course aims to encourage and develop students' skills related to the physical education and sport scientist's workplace. It also aims to introduct and familiarize the student with their future occupation. Student practice concerns students that have completed their fourth semester of studies, in order to acquire the scientific knowledge, appropriate to take the most advantage of this experience. With the successful completion of the course the student will be able to: 1. to describe, formulate and interpret the scientific knowledge acquired during their course of studies, using it on a specific workplace domain 2. to discriminate and differientate the standards that required to practice their profession in the job market 3. to detect and assess new work objects and current trends in the domains of physical education, sport, exercise, rehabilitation and sport leisure, as well as the required job skills for practicing their occupation. 4. to improve fundamental skills and qualifications that required in order to practise their occupation, like e.g. responsibility, consistency, team work, adaptability in new situatiοns, decision making, awareness in diversity and health issues

Course Content (Syllabus)
Students can practice in sport clubs and associations, cultural or folkloric clubs with traditional dances groups, sports clubs for individuals with disabilities, sport programs for all in municipality organizations, rehabilitation centers, fitness gyms, in private schools (e.g. kindergarten), sport leisure (hotels, summer camps, outdoor leisure activities) and centers for assessment of human performance. Student practice is a course of the 5th and 6th semester and a student is eligible between the 5th and 10th semester of their course of study only once. Total duration is 12 weeks (3 months). The student’s practice is supervised by a host institution professional and a scientific staff member of the university department.

Description
Every student cooperates with a supervisor of the scientific staff in the Department and a supervisor from the host institution who is a professional. The successful completion of the student practice is verified by the final on line assessment by both supervisors.
