Learning Outcomes
This is an advanced course on magnetic materials and applications.By the end of the course the student should be able to explain the fundamentals of magnetism and magnetic phenomena, to relate magnetic properties of materials with device functionality, to study and solve design problems for magnetic devices.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Magnetostatics. Theory of magnetic materials. Magnetic circuits. Materials for permanent magnets. Losses in magnetic materials. Materials for high current applications. Materials for weak current applications.
