Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
-Define the concept of experience and experience
-Record the theory and principles of experiential learning
-Describe the teaching of the Orthodox Tradition about "experience"
-Plan and implement experiential actions for children in catechism meetings
-Develop communication skills, which can be apllied to catechism practice
Course Content (Syllabus)
The content of the course initially includes an accurate understanding of the term "experience". For this purpose, the importance of terms in biblical and paternal texts as well as in the field of Pedagogy and Psychology is investigated. Then the representatives of experiential learning are recorded, analyzing their theoretical approaches through corresponding models. Theories are combined with experiential learning techniques, which will be used by students to develop and apply experiential learning scenarios in children for catechism sessions.
