Course Content (Syllabus)
The course has three units: (a) The Epistemology of Scientific Research, where the basic philosophical issues concerning inquiry in Pedagogy and in Social Sciences in general, are discussed. (b) Methodology, which concerns issues in designing and carrying out research endeavors in education. (c) Introduction to the basic concepts of Statistics and analysis of empirical data. Attendance and contributing to the class-work is mandatory.
