Course Content (Syllabus)
Diagramms, advance physical organic chemistry, kinetic reactions, transition states, kinetic isotope effects, Hammett kinetics, Hammond postulation, Curtin-Hammett theory, free radical reactions, rearrangement of organic free radicals, trap of organic intermediates.
One and two dimensinal NMR, theory and applications, complex pulse sequences, NoE effect, double resonance experiments. Relationships between the Spectrum and the Molecular Structure. Problems on finding the structure of unknown compounds. Theory and demostration of Mass Spectroscopy.
