Upon completion of the course students will be able to (a) understand and approach autobiographies of the 1821 Greek Revolution of Independence based on this year's 200th anniversary (b) acquire skills on research, conduct research plans and structure research proposals

Course Content (Syllabus)
The autobiographical discourse of the 1821 Revolution is studied in connection with its 200th anniversary. The multifunctional, multidimensional material is explored in combination with theories and methodologies that have been employed so far. Furthermore the second part of the course is dedicated to introducing students in research, teaching them how to draft research plans and conference papers and organizing a conference simulation.
