Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to marketing and marketing functions of agricultural products (standardization, grading, packaging, labeling, processing, storage, transportation, sales promotion, advertising). Production characteristics of agricultural products. Marketing mix. Agricultural products market – prices. Distribution channels, selling – wholesaling – retailing of agricultural products. Marketing cost and efficiency of agricultural products. Marketing research. Consumer behaviour and consumerism. Cooperative marketing. Electronic marketing. International marketing.
