Learning Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of this module students should: 1.know the basic concepts and the objects of agricultural education. 2. know the technical vocational education (agricultural, rural) in all the states-members of E.U., in order to handle appropriate structures and programmes for the good of Greek rural population. 3. know the learning process within the framework of vocational, educational system (basic vocational education, training). 4. have the appropriate knowledge and skills related to educational planning (organisation/methodology/content choice) with a special emphasis in the planning of educational programmes targeted to rural people. 5. make effective use of teaching methods and tools, as well as of evaluation methods.

Historic evolution of agricultural education. Learning in educational process. Pedagogical issues. Technical vocational education. Educational systems. Design of educational programmes. Didactic and evaluation of educational programmes. Trainees’ participation. Trainee’s evaluation. Audio-visual media of teaching. Research methods in education. Professional guidance-life long guidance. Rural household economics.
