Upon successful completion of the course students will learn how to promote Greek products in Greece and abroad and what affects consumer behavior in purchasing products. They will also be familiar with the sales promotion, marketing of agricultural products in order help producers and consumers.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to Consumer Behavior in relation to agricultural products. Factors affecting consumer behavior (psychological, sociological, anthropological, economic, physical, communicative). Consumer decision making. Perception, learning and attitudes. Store choice and buying behavior. Consumer behavior research of agricultural products. Market research of farm products. Methods of market research. Questionnaire design, sampling, processing and analysis of market research data.
