Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with groundwater hydrology principles
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able: - to understand the basic principles simulation of groundwater flow in unsteady conditions and dealing with boundaries. - to apply methods for parameter estimation of different types of aquifers under unsteady state of flow. - to calculate appropriate well distances and pumping flow rates under specified hydraulic constraints under unsteady state of flow. - to calculate aquifer response under variable (or periodic) pumping rates - to understand and design aquifer recharge methods.
General Competences
  • Apply knowledge in practice
  • Make decisions
  • Work autonomously
  • Work in an international context
