Course Content (Syllabus)
The energy environment in agroecosystems. Influence of abiotic and biotic factors on microclimate. Abiotic factor “light” and its influence on agroecosystems. Abiotic factor “temperature” and its influence on agroecosystems. Interactions-Competition in agroecosystems. Interacions-Allelopathy in agroecosystems. Interactions between agroecosystems and other ecosystems. Field margins ecosystems. Phenology. Agroecosystems productivity. Agroforestry. Organic (biological) farming. Energy balance in agroecosystems. Biodiversity in agroecosystems. Management of plant residues. Decomposition. Composting. Nutrients recycling.
