Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: Understand the management and treatment of extic animal diseases Have basic knowledge about Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Diagnostics of selected exotic species. Be able to diagnose and treat basic diseases of selected exotic species.. Understand the special diagnostic and treatment requirements of these animals and develop basic clinical handling skills. Understand the management of these species.

Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Anatomy, physiology, husbandry and nutrition. Restraint. and clinical examination. Blood sampling. Therapeutics. Anaesthesia. Euthanasia (reptiles, rabbits and rodents, as well as primates). 2. Clinical Diagnostic of Exotic Species. Hematology, biochemistry, radiology. 3. Diseases 4. Legislation 5 Zoonosis and public health
