General Prerequisites
Attendance of courses of 7th, 8th , 9th and 10th semester requires previous successful attendance in 7 courses: general histollogy-embryology, anatomy-histology I,II,III and Physiology I, II,III.

-to gain skills in performing necropsies on domestic animals - to identify and investigate lesions of tissues and organs that occur in pathological conditions of animals - to diagnose diseases - to understand the pathogenicity of diseases to determine the cause of death

Course Content (Syllabus)
Rotating student groups of the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th semesters attend to and train in postmortem examination of companion and productive animals. Daily training includes performance of complete necropsy by students under supervision, identification of lesions and discussions on pathological anatomy diagnosis.

Description
Examinations will be oral on the examination period of the 10th semester. Completion of 148 hours of teaching of the course “training in postmortem examination. Introduction to veterinary forensics” during the semesters 7,8,9, and 10 is required.
