Learning Outcomes
After successfully completing the course students: will have an experiential understanding of the characteristics and particularities of the teaching task. More specifically they will be able to recognize the fundamental presappositions of the succesful teaching as well as to apply the most suitable educatonal strategies for diagnosing the particular learning abilities and perspectives of their students. Besides, they will be able to choose the most appropriate pedagogical principles and teaching methods when they teaching in every specific learning environment.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The first section of Students' Practice Programme is the Micro-teaching task. During this section students participate in a teaching simulation which take place in the Pedagogical Laboratory. In this teaching simulation every practitioner can interchange roles so as to be teacher and student. The second section of the cource includes the Students' Practice in Schools. During this section students have the opportunity to see the educational reality in greek secondary schools. 1.Introduction to Micro-Teaching and Practical Training 2.Models of Teaching and Practicing 3. Student Assessment
Description
Students must complete the Practice Programme successfully, if they want to participate in the exams. Evaluation of the Micro-teaching task and of all stages of the Practice Programme (50% of the final score). Oral exams (50% of the final score).
