3.Are trained to the responsibilities and tasks of a geologist supervising a borehole.
4.Explore in detail and understand, through conversation with the drilling operators, specific issues of borehole/well drilling techniques.

Field Trip
In the frame of the course, a one-day field trip takes place in the region of Central Macedonia where either a borehore or a well is drilled.
The field trip includes the viewing of the drilling, geologic observations in order to justify the scope of the works, presentation of drilling techniques-types of samplers-types of boring heads, in situ field testing and borehole logging techniques according to the projects’ specifications.
