Learning Outcomes
.Understand how the sedimentary basins are formed under different geotectonic regimes.
.Understand how the Accommodation Space is changing during the geotectonic evolution of a basin.
.Understand and recognize terms and techniques of sequence stratigraphy. e.g., System Tracts, Sequence Boundary, etc.
.Recognize and use various diagrams (Chronostrtigraphic Charts – Wheeler Diagrams) and determine the filling history of a basin.
