Learning Outcomes
At the end of the semester students will be able to: 1. understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). 2.communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. 3. describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Course Content (Syllabus)
A2- Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need. (Riflessione grammaticale: Presente dei verbi riflessivi, Preposizioni semplici e articolate, Gli avverbi-formazione, La particella ci, La particela ne, Congiunzioni, Pronomi diretti, Passato prossimo indicativo, Participi passati dei verbi regolari e irregolari, Locuzioni temporali nel passato, Uso transitivo ed intransitivo dei verbi cominciare e finire, Concordanza del participio passato con i pronomi diretti, Imperativo indicativo (verbi regolari e irregolari), Imperativo e la posizone dei pronomi, Gerundio).
