Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: • Acquire technical skills in creating plaster molds, casts, from a prototype model. • Εxpand their casting with plaster knowledge with various techniques. • Εxperiment with contemporary molding materials. • Obtain the ability to produce a mold for reproducing ceramic sculptures.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The class includes the development of technical skills in creating plaster molds, for multiple casts. Its aim is to obtain the ability to produce a mold for reproducing ceramic sculptures. Molding and casting with plaster using various techniques. Creating a mold out of a clay model and cast it in plaster. Experimentation, practice, and knowledge enrichment in using contemporary molding materials.

Student Assessment
Description
The assessment οf the students performance is being done by the continuous observation of their knowledge, their daily precense at the art lab, as well as the course's final exams, which constitute the presentation of the final project, mold and final sculpture with plaster as a main material and is announced at the beggining of the semester by the instructor. The assessment's criteria for the course are indicated thoroughly at the department's study guide.
